Spring – Le Printemps

Spring time or Le Printemps is inspired by my time living in France. I started to paint during the Winter in a small town called Renne. It was dark, cold and the forest close to the house where I would walk was void of colours. Yet when I went for my daily walks I would see little Squirrels gathering nuts, rabbits bounding across the open field or hear sweet little birds singing. I would then go back into my little studio and start painting the most vivid, paintings full of colour, bunnies, squirrels, birds so unlike the surrounds.
